Dalvenie House, Truro wedding.

By

The wedding of Tarina and Andrew.

The lovely Tarina and Andrew, got married at Dalvenie House in Truro at a small, intimate wedding, which had been thoughtfully planned by Tarina and her daughter Amber.

When we met at their pre-wedding consultation, Tarina impressed me with her abiding love of nature and trees.  This was a gift for me as I feel exactly the same about nature and adore shooting portraits in the great outdoors!

On the day itself, it was very grey and I was worried that it would rain and deprive us of the opportunity to get some beautiful nature portraits!

However, despite a few drops during the indoors ceremony, the rain held off all day.  It was only as I was driving home later that a few drops landed on my windscreen – by which time they were allowed!

The wedding was beautiful, relaxed and a joy to document.  And the weather for the portraits afterwards was fantastic, with the light suddenly brightening through the wet leaves, leaving everything crisp and clean!

We found a lovely little path down the side of Dalvenie House which led into a wood, this was the spot for the portraits!  And afterwards we popped down to Victoria Gardens in Truro for some more Bride and Groom portraiture.

A truly lovely day and celebration of a very special bond between two lovely people.

Tarina and Andrew, thank you for inviting me to capture your special day for you.  I wish you a lifetime of happiness x
